Why I'm jealous of new runners

Eight years ago, when I moved to New York, I had never run a mile. Now my RunKeeper is telling me I've logged over 800 runs, and that's not counting all my Nike+ tracked run in the early days. A lot has changed in the journey from running a few blocks to two marathons and handfuls of half marathons.
