Heart & Silk's shirts give back to Brooklyn

It's finally T-shirt time!

For my latest story on The Bridge, I profiled the new shirt start-up Heart & Silk, which holds art workshops at homeless shelters in Brooklyn, then prints the kids' adorable and clever designs on their super-soft shirts. For each shirt sold, they donate a care package back to the shelters. Founded by two recent college grads, Heart & Silk is a perfect example of how being scrappy and persistent can pay off in the end. Read more at my story on The Bridge.
