Women taking over the world

Women taking over the world

For the last eight years, the first week of April has brought the Women in the World Summit to New York City. It's three days of inspiring panels and conversations with world leaders, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and many other figures from all walks of life. I'm honored to attend and write about panels every year for the WITW site, in association with the New York Times. Here's what I covered this time around:

Iasia Sweeting: ‘I was literally stolen from my life’

Wife of Putin critic says being poisoned twice won’t stop his fight for democracy

Shooting survivor Felicia Sanders: ‘Forgiveness is not for that person — forgiveness is for you’

Scarlett Johansson finds Ivanka Trump ‘old fashioned, uninspired, and cowardly’

Other memorable guests included Justin Trudeau and, of course, Hillary Clinton (seen here with Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times). Mark down the first week of April for next year—you shouldn't miss it.
