I wrote a piece on the best graduation speeches by women this year for Fusion. (Unsurprisingly, Oprah, Sheryl Sandberg, and Michelle Obama all make an appearance.) During my research, I noticed there was a big gender gap in speakers. Lots of men. Lots and lots of them. Partly because some commencement addresses are given by university presidents — most of whom happen to be men — and partly because, well, maybe their alum pool isn't very big. But hopefully that's all going to change. If you'd like to get some 15-minute doses of inspiration, read (and watch) here.
