I wish I had appreciated Coach John Wooden more when I was at UCLA. Not that I could have turned his head on the basketball court or anything, but I should have been more aware of how inspirational he was to so many people. He died in 2010 at the age of 99, but his short TED talk on winning and succeeding lives on. Watch it for a pick-me-up. He even throws in some poetry. /swoon
